The municipality of Hochfilzen belongs to the Pil-lerseetal and is only a few minutes by car from the entrance to the Fieberbrunn-Saalbach Ski Area , arguably one of the best ski areas in the Austrian Alps. Hochfilzen is also famous and a stronghold for biathlon and cross-country skiing so all winter sports enthusiasts are catered for here!
